Kampania społeczna „Infodoradztwo” to jedno z kluczowych działań realizowanych w ramach projektu „Instytucje rynku pracy wspierają interkulturowe doradztwo kariery”.
Zmiana zachowań i postaw wymaga powtarzalnego, wielokanałowego przekazu. Jednorazowy komunikat rzadko wystarcza.
Łączy media społecznościowe, materiały informacyjne, działania edukacyjne i współpracę instytucjonalną.
Do kogo kierujemy kampanię?
Drugą grupę stanowią instytucje rynku pracy, organizacje branżowe i partnerzy lokalni. To podmioty, które mogą wspierać rozwój portalu, uzupełniać treści, przekazywać informacje dalej i pomagać w docieraniu do osób, które potrzebują wsparcia. Kampania łączy więc dwa kierunki działania: z jednej strony mówi do osób szukających pomocy, z drugiej – zaprasza instytucje do współpracy.
Dlaczego to ważne?
Mogą korzystać z informacji, doradztwa i wsparcia instytucji.
The “Infodoradztwo” social campaign is one of the key activities carried out as part of the project “Labour market institutions support intercultural career guidance”. Its task is not only to inform people about available tools and materials, but above all to reach those who have never before encountered the concept of intercultural career guidance. For many migrants and refugees, the labour market in Poland is a new and not always clear system. It is difficult to immediately know where to look for help, which institutions offer support, what a career counsellor does and whether such assistance is available free of charge. That is why the mere existence of information materials is not enough. Active, regular and understandable communication is needed to show that such support exists and can be used.
Why is information alone not enough?
Important materials are being created in the project: reports, a guide, educational content, a portal and publications on intercultural career guidance. However, even the best-prepared tool will not fulfil its role if the people it is intended for do not know that it exists. The experience of NFDK shows that people who need professional support the most often do not reach for it. This is not always due to a lack of willingness. Sometimes the reason is a lack of awareness that career guidance is available. Sometimes the barrier is language, lack of trust in institutions or the belief that career guidance is only for unemployed people or those in a very difficult situation. This is why the social campaign is so important. Its task is not only to provide information, but also to change the way people think about professional support. We want to show that career guidance can be helpful for anyone who wants to better plan their career path, confirm qualifications, change jobs, start learning or find their way in the labour market in a new country. Changing behaviours and attitudes requires repeated, multi-channel communication. A one-time message is rarely enough. That is why the “Infodoradztwo” campaign is based on regular communication, accessible content and presence in the channels used by the target groups.
What do we want to achieve?
The “Infodoradztwo” social campaign has several important goals. The first is to increase awareness of the availability of intercultural career guidance. We want to reach people who are looking for work in Poland but do not know that they can use free support. The second goal is to change the image of career guidance. A career counsellor is not someone people turn to only in a crisis. It is a specialist who can help identify competences, plan further development, prepare for a conversation with an employer, choose a course or find an institution that offers appropriate support. The third goal of the campaign is to mobilise labour market institutions and sectoral organisations. The portal and project materials can only be effective if they are up to date, practical and respond to the real needs of recipients. That is why it is important to involve institutions that work every day with jobseekers, migrants, refugees, employers and career counsellors. The campaign also serves to build a cooperation network. We want to create relationships with institutions and organisations that can become involved in the project activities, supplement the portal content, share knowledge and support the dissemination of information about intercultural career guidance.
Where and how are we running the campaign?
The campaign is conducted mainly on social media because these channels are accessible, fast and make it possible to reach different groups of recipients. This is where many people look for their first information about work, courses, support opportunities or institutions operating locally. One of the main tools of the campaign is a thematic Facebook fanpage, where regular posts are published on the labour market, career guidance, qualifications, available forms of support and the importance of information in career planning. The content is prepared in an accessible, practical and understandable way for people with migration experience. Campaign activities also include promoted posts, which help increase the reach of messages and reach people who do not yet follow the project profile. Another important element is a digital brochure sent to labour market institutions, as well as online webinars that are recorded and made available on the project platforms. As a result, the campaign is not limited to one communication channel. It combines social media, information materials, educational activities and institutional cooperation.
Who is the campaign aimed at?
The “Infodoradztwo” campaign is aimed at two main target groups. The first group consists of migrants and refugees aged 18+, including graduates of vocational schools, people who are professionally active and people looking for work in Poland. These are people who may need information about qualifications, labour rights, available institutions, career guidance and development opportunities. In this group, language accessibility and a simple way of communicating content are particularly important. Information must be understandable, practical and possible to use in a specific professional situation. The second group consists of labour market institutions, sectoral organisations and local partners. These are entities that can support the development of the portal, supplement its content, pass information on and help reach people who need support. The campaign therefore combines two directions of action: on the one hand, it speaks to people looking for help; on the other, it invites institutions to cooperate.
How do we measure the effects of the campaign?
The effectiveness of a social campaign can be assessed on several levels. Quantitative indicators are, of course, important, such as the number of fanpage followers, the reach of published posts, the number of reactions, comments, shares or webinar participants. The number of institutions that respond to the invitation to cooperate, become involved in project activities or help disseminate materials is also important. This shows whether the campaign is building a real network of contacts and whether the topic of intercultural career guidance is becoming more visible among labour market institutions. Evaluation surveys are also an important element of assessment. They make it possible to check whether participants understand the content provided, whether they find it useful and whether the campaign responds to their information needs. A social campaign is not only about numbers. It is also about changing awareness, language and the way people think about career guidance. Its effect may be that someone learns for the first time that they have the right to support. Someone else may contact a counsellor. An institution may begin to share information in a more accessible way. A sectoral organisation may become involved in developing the portal.
Why is this important?
Without visibility, even the best solutions remain unused. That is why the social campaign is an essential element of the project. It helps translate knowledge, research and materials into real actions by recipients. We want people with migration experience to know that they do not have to navigate the labour market on their own. They can use information, guidance and institutional support. We also want labour market institutions to better understand the needs of migrants and refugees and actively participate in developing accessible tools. Because no change happens by itself. It takes conversation, visibility, cooperation and the courage to reach out for help. The “Infodoradztwo” social campaign serves exactly this purpose: to show that information can be the beginning of change, and that career guidance can help people find their own path in the labour market.
